  • Document special requirements

Client to Marketplace Conversion

What Is Conversion?

If your client wants self-service access to MyVSSL:

  1. They can create their own account
  2. Their vessels can be linked
  3. They gain marketplace access

How It Works

This is managed by platform administrators. Contact support if a client wants their own account.

Removing a Client

When to Remove

  • Client is no longer active
  • Duplicate record
  • Data cleanup

How to Remove

  1. Open the client profile
  2. Tap the menu (three dots)
  3. Select Remove Client
  4. Confirm removal

Note: Removing a client doesn't delete their service history.

Client Vessels

Client Vessels in the Marine Professionals menu opens /clientVesselsList. The list includes Add Vessel.

This is the organization's client-vessel list. It is not the owner Add Vessel flow on the owner dashboard.

Add a vessel for a client

Add Vessel in the Marine Professionals menu opens the client vessel form only when a client is already selected.

  1. On Professional Home, open the chevron on the app bar (tooltip "Select client").
  2. Pick the client.
  3. Open the menu and choose Add Vessel.

If no client is selected, the menu does not open the form. It shows "Select a client from the app bar first to create a vessel for them."

Tips for Client Management

  1. Keep info current - Updated contact info prevents issues
  2. Use notes - Record important details about the client
  3. Complete vessel data - Full info helps with quotes
  4. Track service history - Use bookings to build history
  5. Organize vessels - Link all vessels to the right client
