Data Import

Data Import in the Marine Professionals menu opens /dataImport (DataImportV4Widget).

The menu shows Data Import only when your organization role is admin, or you are a global admin. It is not shown for managers. Import Review uses the same rule.

Stages

The import page is a tabbed workspace:

  • Clients
  • Vessels
  • Inventory
  • Components
  • Invoices
  • Enrich
  • Reconcile

A session file panel and a status strip sit above the tabs when an organization is selected.

Import Review

Import Review is its own menu item. It opens /importReview (ImportReviewWidget). It is not a separate help page.

Use it to review clients and vessels already loaded for the organization: filter the client list, edit cells, and open a client's vessels. Data Import is where a run is staged. Import Review is where you inspect the loaded rows.
